South East Water
South East Water, one of three Victorian Government owned water retailers, provides service to over 1.6 million people and focuses on helping customers make the right choices about water use.
Bulk water is purchased from the government’s wholesaler, Melbourne Water, who also manages the water catchments and treats the majority of Victoria’s waste water.

Water Services Association of Australia
In Australia, water and sewage services, vital not only to people and households but also to industry and commercial enterprises, are provided by Government regulated water utilities. The Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) is the peak industry body that brings together and supports this Australian urban water industry. Western Water
Western Water is one of Victoria’s thirteen regional urban water corporations established under the Water Act 1989, Western Region Water Corporation.
Western Water provides water, recycled water and sewerage services to almost 58,000 properties over an area of 3,000 square kilometres and a population of 150,000. Its focus is on how best to use the region’s limited local water supplies to meeting rapidly increasing demand from population growth and avoid the high costs associated with importing water from the Melbourne supply system.
